In this year of 2016,

Many events are yet to be seen

The winter and spring weathers have come and gone

And the summer is here with its blazing hot sun

And fall will bring its lovely colors best

An election to remember from all the rest

Our Nation stands at the threshold of changing ways

And votes will determine whether we stand or give into sways

Many have fought and died, and some still serve today

To give and protect our freedom of the USA

Our Nation’s independence founded on Constitutional Truths

The question: Will we remain true to the Red, White and Blue

It’s time to quit looking for Government handouts they call free

Because all those entitlements are costing too much for you and me

It’s time to quit spending more than the people make

For all those trillions of debt, on their own, will not go away

It’s time to think back of what made this America so great

And get back to those basics for future generations’ sake

To truly celebrate the freedom of our Fourth of July

Let’s go beyond the fireworks, vote the Constitution and comply

For freedom is not free and must be maintained or it will be lost

Right and Godly decisions, responsible voting, are the cost

This means everyone, no matter what role, don’t be deceived and coy

Vote for the USA, pray and give thanks for all the blessings that we enjoy
