The Love, Light, and Life of Christmas

Merry Christmas! The Love, Light, and Life of God has come to the world, and is still near to us.
Jesus was born to set us free from sin, to bring us hope, to reveal to us the love of God, to give us abundant life, and to show us how to live by faith. Therefore, I say that Christmas is about love, light, and life.
The Love of God came in the small package of the baby Jesus – so we should never despise small beginnings. The Love of God never fails; it is everlasting. The Love of God is offered to everyone and freely given by His Son Jesus.
The Light of God came as Jesus revealed the nature of God in His love, forgiveness, and faithfulness, to mention a few. It’s the Light of God which dispels the darkness of evil. The Light of God penetrates darkness, revealing both evil and truth. God’s Light never diminishes because His Light is Eternal.
The Life of God came through Jesus as He healed the sick, cast out demons, fed the multitudes, and gave His Life to pay our debt owed because of our sin. The Life of God is in Jesus. His Resurrection Life gives us new life, physical healing, peace, and the hope of a blessed eternity with Him.
Have a very Merry Christ-Centered Christmas Celebration.
LOVE OF GOD:
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born. Unto us a Son is given: and the government will be upon His shoulder, and His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Romans 5:5 And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
1 Corinthians 13:8 Love never fails.
Ephesians 2:4-5 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).
2 Thessalonians 3:5 Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.
LIGHT OF GOD:
Genesis 1:3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw that the light was good.
John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
Acts 26:18 To open their (spiritual) eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness and release from their sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified (set apart made holy) by faith in Me.
2 Corinthians 4:6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 5:8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.
LIFE OF GOD:
Genesis 1:26 The God said, “Let US make man in Our image, according to Our likeness…”;
Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
John 3:36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him”.
John 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
