I apologize for being late this week in getting my post out.  I attended a Women’s Conference this past weekend.  It was a great conference where we were challenged to (1) monitor our thoughts; (2) be prepared for the coming of our Lord; (3) be continuously filled with His Spirit; and to (4) be balanced prayer warriors.

It is now early Thursday morning and the Lord awoke me with the thoughts from Psalm 51:10, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me”.  I remember years ago when I was going through some rough times that this scripture spoke to me so very strongly: correctively and compassionately.  Correctively in that the Lord was telling me it was up to me to make decisions to keep my heart clean before Him; and compassionately giving me hope that I could be and have a steadfast spirit within me.  Lord, you are so very good to us and faithful to help us through any situation.  Praise the Name of the Lord.  So I decided that I would pray for you my reader as I did for myself:

“Father God, I pray that as we each search our own heart that You will show us those things that we need to change; those attitudes of pride and discontent, and replace them with humble acknowledgement of Your Great Love for us.  It is only when we seek first the Kingdom of God and Your righteousness and obey Your very Word that we will truly be content in our lives.  Help us to monitor our thoughts and be prepared so that we are ready to see You when You come again.  Help us to take time to fill ourselves with Your Spirit by your Word and prayer so that we can be balanced children of God in the knowledge of Your Word, and have the wisdom to know how to wage spiritual warfare properly.  It is only when we are filled with Your Spirit that we will be steadfast (faithful) in our beliefs in Your Word, able to walk in victory in every area of our lives.  Thank You Lord for your faithfulness to Your Word to bring the Truth of your Word to pass in our lives as we live by faith.  Your are a great and mighty God and I am grateful that You revealed Your Great Love to me.  In Jesus Name, Amen”.
