Happy Thanksgiving dear family and friends.  This past week I’ve been thinking of how much God loves us and provides for all our needs.  Thinking that we should always be thanking Him for His goodness.  As I sat down this evening to write this Blog this poem is what surfaced from my heart.  I am so very grateful to God for so many things; my family, my friends, my health, my church, to mention a few; but mostly for God who reveals Himself to me through His Word-Jesus. Thank you Lord for your love, your mercy.  All praise and honor belong to You.

Let Us Be Thankful

Let us be thankful for all that God has given us

His love, His mercy, and His forgiveness

All of God’s blessings come through His Son

Jesus, is the Way, the Life, the Only One

He never changes and is always the same

Faithful to His Word and ready to proclaim

That we are His children, the apple of His eye

Soon to return for us, breaking forth in the sky

So let us be prepared, and let us be ready

So at that time He will find us true and steady

Let us be thankful, giving Him all our love

Then when He comes, we will always be with Him above
