Prayer Time

thGood afternoon everyone,

This week I’m a little late in getting my post out; missed last week altogether-sorry.  I have several in the beginning stages but not close to completion.  Since I really like to keep in touch, I decided to share some prayer time with you.

“Father God, I awoke this morning thinking of my Country, the United States of America, and want to prayer for her.  We have many problems in many different areas and degrees that are concerns to all.  First I pray for revival to come to America, from the East to West, North to South, reaching all areas of lives, rich and poor, and those in between.  I pray for those who do not know you to have a revelation of how much you love them and that each would make a decision to become Your child by accepting Jesus as Savior and decide to live a life pleasing to You O Lord.  I pray for those who are your children to wake up and examine themselves according to Your Word and if any deceit or sin is found in their heart or life,  that they will repent, receiving Your forgiveness and begin again and continue to live their life for You stronger than ever.

Secondly, I lift up those in authority: for their eyes to be opened to the truths of every agenda that comes before them and make decisions that are righteous.  Give them wisdom to know how to vote on issues so America will be strong and complete the mission that You O Lord have for us. Many people may think that is impossible but I firmly believe You O Lord are able to change hearts.  Reveal to us Your Love, Power and Deliverance that is in Jesus Christ Your Son.  Let this be the day of Salvation for those who are separated from You.  For those who do know you as their Heavenly Father, I pray that they will be bold and stand fast in their beliefs in You O Mighty God.

That they will see that they have a very important role to play in keeping this Country as One Nation under God.  I pray for those in Government appointments in Washington DC; for those in each State; in Law Enforcement and Education levels.  I pray this O Lord according to Your Word in First Timothy 2:1-5.

I thank you Lord that you are at work in our lives, changing us as individuals to live for You so our lives will affect our Country and bring glory to You O Lord my God.  In Jesus Name, amen”

1 Timothy 2:1-3 – I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings (or presidents, congressmen), and for all in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.
