This Is My Lord

OIPWhile reading from Psalm 103 the other day these verses really ministered to my heart.  The refreshing I felt in my soul was not necessarily from a new revelation but a mighty refreshing of what God had already revealed to me and blessed me with.  This is why we need to read and re-read His Word – because it refreshes our soul.

I wrote out verses one through five and then wrote what I said over my life and in thanks of what the verse said.  This is short but remember it is not the number of words in a post that matters but what God is ministering to our heart from His Word.  Let the power of God’s Word reveal to you anew His love and blessings to you.

Psalm 103:

1- Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me; bless His holy name.

2- Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget not all His benefits.

3- Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases,

4- who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

5- who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth this is renewed like the eagle’s.

Let’s break this down and meditate on who our Lord really is. First of all, my Lord is a good God.

God is holy. He has benefits of blessings for me. He forgives my sins and heals me from all diseases (sicknesses).  He paid a high price to redeem me – for He died on the Cross for my sins. He crowns me with His lovingkindness so I can love others as He loves me.  Because there is power in our tongue unto death or life, He satisfies me with His blessings when I believe and confess His Word, and He gives me new strength for each day to walk out His plan for my life.

This is how I apply the Word of God to my life and thought I’d just share these wonderful Scriptures with you.  Let God’s Word minister to you a new refreshing of His presence in your life as you meditate on His Word.
