God’s Voice is Speaking to You
2September 8, 2020 by maryruwe
Today I want to encourage you to keep your faith in God strong.
Keep reading the Bible. Keep praying for our Country; for repentance of the sins, for people to turn from their wicked ways, for us to humble ourselves before God, and expect the healing of our land as He promised in Second Chronicles 7:14.
Know that when we keep our focus on God’s Word, hearing it, reading it, speaking it, then we will recognize His voice and will follow Him and walk in His blessings.
John 10:27 – My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
When we know His voice, submit to His voice in obedience – that’s when we are following Him. Following Him brings His blessings to us because following indicates obedience to His Word.
We need to understand that fear and faith are spiritual forces and work the same way. The force of fear generates a belief in the power of the fear. Fear has its base in the devil. The force of faith generates a belief in the power of faith. Faith has its base in God.
Keep your eyes on the Word of God and His promises of deliverance and healing.
Keep your ears listening for the Voice of God for instructions, directions, and guidance. When we keep our mind on Him, regardless of the situation around us, He will keep us in perfect peace because we trust in Him. (Isaiah 26:3)
The way I keep my eyes (heart) fixed on God is by keeping my thoughts on what things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, virtue and praise; basically, it’s keeping my attention in and on the Word of God. I call this Scripture the measuring stick for my thinking. I keep my heart and voice rejoicing in the Lord; keeping my prayers before Him with thanksgiving, and He gives me peace that passes all understanding. (Philippians 4:4-8)
When we control our thoughts, we control our words, which controls our heart, attitudes, motives, and behavior.
Take your life before God prayerfully, in repentance and humility, submit your will to His and watch your life get better.

My word of the year for 2020 is focus, so this was a great reminder. Thank you! 😊
Yes, focus is a good word for this year; we’ve had lots of opportunities to be distracted from God’s Word…
