Thinking about what to write this week; I’m impressed to share about prayer. So here is what I heard coming from my heart.

“Father God, thank you for your love and mercy; thank you for revealing to me your love for me, and for the world. Thank you for Your Son Jesus who gives me life everlasting.

“I pray for myself to have a heart of compassion so that I may walk in the love you have poured into my heart. I pray for my husband to continue to be the strong spiritual leader of our family that you have called him to be.  I pray for our children and grandchildren to walk strong in their knowledge of your love for them, and in their love for Jesus, and always reach forth to complete their assignments in your Kingdom, fulfilling your plans for their lives.

“I pray for Your compassion to pour into the hearts of all your people, because when Jesus was moved with compassion, He went about preaching, teaching, forgiving sin, and healing the sick. And then he told his disciples to do the same; we believers are your disciples in our timeline and we should be doing the same as Jesus did. He spoke the truth in love. I pray for your Church to continue to arise and take its rightful place in standing up for what is right in You sight O Lord.

“Help us Father to seek first your Kingdom and Your righteousness so we are able to complete the mandate of Jesus to go into all the world and preach, teach, and heal the sick; for Your heart is that none should perish but be saved through Jesus.

“I pray for revival and a renewal all across my Country; first for conviction and repentance of sin; then a turning from sin to you O Lord; so that You will heal our land of division and bring about unity and peace within our Land. I pray for all those in authority in every level of government, for their hearts to turn to you if they don’t know you as Father, don’t know Jesus as Savior, and for those who are your children to be strong in their faith in you.  The truth is that a lot of the world know you as Creator God but they don’t know you as their Father God. I pray for the love of Jesus to abound in the hearts of your people so the world will see You and be drawn to you, receive forgiveness for their sins, and accept Jesus as Savior.

“I pray for lies and deception to be exposed and for people to recognize and understand and have discernment about what they hear and read.  I pray for truth to come forth and reign in our government agencies, and in the hearts of people. I pray for Christians to be bold to live according to Your Word and to stand strong for righteousness. In Jesus Mighty Name to the Glory of God, Amen.”
