I love Easter. It’s the time of remembering that the tomb of JESUS is empty because God raised Him up from the darkness of the grave to be in His eternal glory forever.

John 3:16-17 states that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. Jesus said in John 12:47 – that He did not come to judge the world but to save the world.

Jesus laid down His life on the Cross of Calvary to pay for the sin(s) of the world. That means you and me. The debt and the wages for our sin have been paid for by the Blood of Jesus. Hallelujah! Romans 6:23 teaches that the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. When a person accepts Jesus as Savior, God imparts to them the gift of eternal life. What a wonderful exchange for us! Easter is about the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ being made available to all who will believe and receive Him.

If you don’t know Jesus as Savior, make that decision today to accept Him as Savior and Lord. Just believe in your heart and say with your mouth that you believe He died for your sins, that God raised Him from the dead, and accept Jesus as your Savior and Lord (Romans 10:9-10).

The power of Christianity is in the Resurrection of Jesus from the dead. Jesus did not come to condemn the world but to save to the world.

So, celebrate EASTER with great joy because through Jesus we become a child of God. Let’s celebrate EASTER with great praise, and give honor to the Savior of the world – Jesus.
