Resurrection Celebration

This is one of the best days to celebrate-the Resurrection of Jesus. I think the next best day would be — when a person actually receives Jesus as their Savior. It’s all about love – the love of God to and for us, Jesus obedience to His love for the Father, and for us; and, of course our love for Him.
As I have said before, “The power of Christianity is in the Resurrection of Jesus from the dead; He did not come to condemn the world but to save the world. (John 3:16-17) Easter is about the Saving Grace of Jesus made available to all who will believe, trust, and receive Him.
First Corinthians 15:45 tells us that the first man Adam became a living being. The last Adam (Jesus) became a life-giving spirit.
The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ our Lord. Because of one man’s disobedience (the first Adam) many were made sinners, so by one man’s obedience (the second Adam – Jesus) many are made righteous. (Romans 3:23, 5:19) Jesus came to save the world not to condemn the world. (John 3:17)
Some people don’t like say Happy Easter because of the worldly emphasis of baskets filled with candy and stuffed bunny rabbits and other gifts; they’d rather say Happy Resurrection Day that puts emphasis on the real reason of the celebration. However, I think of word Easter as the:
Eternal life we have with Jesus
Authority believers have in the Name of Jesus
Son-ship of believers being joint heirs with Jesus
Truth of Jesus that sets us free from sin
Empty tomb, because Jesus has risen from the dead
Righteousness that we have because Jesus took the penalty of our sin
It is by faith we believe to take the new life in Jesus. By faith to take healing that is in the stripes on Jesus’ back and the power in His name. By faith we believe, trust, and receive all that God has promised us.
Have a day wonderfully blessed and happy as we celebration the Resurrection of Jesus!
