The Ending And The End
2February 1, 2021 by maryruwe
In light of all the world circumstances and situations, I’ve been praying a lot about the end of time – as we know it now. The Bible talks a lot about the Second Coming of Jesus. (Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21) Jesus answers the questions of His Disciples as to how to recognize the signs of that time; wars and rumors of wars, nations rise against nations, persecutions, pestilence, famine, etc.
I really find it interesting how God gives me messages and poems. I woke up early last Thursday – about 3 am. I was thirsty and got a glass of water; sat down in my chair and began to read a little from the book I’m trying to finish. I hadn’t read much when I thought, “I should pray”. As I began to pray about all the situations going on in the world, I thought, “goodness, I’m hungry”. Now usually I would just get me a small snack to eat, but my next thought was that I should “fast that snack”. It seems that I was remembering a book on fasting by Kenneth E Hagin where (if I remember correctly) he said we should live a fasting life – meaning that we should fast something each day unto God. So, I decided to fast that snack; and continued to pray. Moments later I was writing this poem:
The Ending and the End By Mary Ruwe 2021-01-28 Time with Me is precious indeed There will be fruit from each and every seed Fast the natural food and snack Spend time with ME in prayer and there’ll be no lack So pray out your heart, pray out My Way It will keep you close to Me and you will not sway These end times will be rough, you will see But in My Presence, safe you will be So, come to My side, in my presence, and in prayer And you will not falter or be caught in a snare Come away, come away, from all the worldly noise around Come into My presence where healing and strength abound The end is rapidly coming; so close is the day Watch. Watch. Be alert, and in prayer you must stay Forgiveness is key for each to receive Confess your faults, and be not deceived My Bride is to be pure and white as snow Only in Me will you keep your holy glow I am coming. I am coming; have no doubt, do not fear The brightness of My Glory and My Truth will soon appear.
I think this poem depicts the times we live in; boisterous with the noise of the enemy all around with the purpose to distract us from our focus on God. If we let down our guard, then confusion and despair will overtake our thoughts; and then the spirit of fear sets in. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) We must walk in forgiveness towards others and for ourselves (Ephesians 4:32) In other words keep your heart full of the Word of God, keep you heart right before God, and keep your heart and mind prayerful in these last days.

That is good
Mary, this was incredibly encouraging as I have decided to fast this week! I happened to be reading in Joel chapter 1 earlier…
“Consecrate a fast; call a solemn assembly. Gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land to the house of the Lord your God, and cry out to the Lord. Alas for the day! For the day of the Lord is near, and as destruction from the Almighty it comes. Is not the food cut off before our eyes, joy and gladness from the house of our God?”
Then I go to check my email and had time to read this post. This is a time of focus and prayer. Fasting and consecration. Thank you for your encouragement and your call to fast.
